Emerging from the forest with her guitar after a decade of Klondike winters, Joey O’Neil’s folkloric fingerpicking woven with sincere, queer stories has been described as “Absolutely touching, even a little heartbreaking” (NEXT). Thanks to tongue-in-cheek lyrics and an emphasis on storytelling, she’s been bewitching audiences between the Yukon and Ontario, making space for folks to laugh and cry simultaneously.
