Today, critically-acclaimed Yukon-based singer-songwriter Joey O’Neil shares new track “Mirroring”. The gorgeous new track mesmerizes with O’Neil’s signature haunting melodies, richly textured instrumentation, and spiritually introspective lyricism. Delicate finger picked guitar, enchanting organs, and crystallized vibraphone cement an ethereal atmosphere which is taken even further with O’Neil’s continued creative use of the theremin, stepping as far back as possible to produce a deep melody line almost evoking a cello. The reflective theme comes fully to fruition with the doubling of O’Neil’s vocals, described in her own words, “as if I’m singing to myself in the mirror – and my reflection’s singing back.”
