Biography

Since their inception, cleopatrick, made up of Cobourg, ON natives Luke Gruntz and Ian Fraser, have proved themselves to be one of the most in-demand rising rock bands on the planet. They were the sole band featured in Amazon Music UK’s Ones To Watch 2021 and have amassed over 100 million streams, alongside a string of sold-out tours across Canada, the US, UK, and EU. Their electrifying performances at renowned festivals and their direct support role for Royal Blood in Canada and the US solidify their place in the rock pantheon.

Their explosive debut album, BUMMER (2021), not only earned a JUNO nomination for ‘Breakthrough Group of the Year’ but also set the tone for their meteoric rise in the music scene. Praised by Exclaim! as “a solid high-energy debut,” the album features standout tracks like the raw, distortion-heavy anthem THE DRAKE” (which landed the talented duo on Spotify’s marquee New Music Friday Billboard at Yonge and Dundas Square in Toronto), crowd favourite “FAMILY VAN,” (video game, PowerPoint Presentation, official video), the riff-packed ““GOOD GRIEF” and the hauntingly beautiful“ 2008”.
