(June 15, 2022) – Little Destroyer, the fierce, noisy alt-rock band making waves in their hometown of Vancouver have released another hooky single and video aptly titled “love and anarchy” via Tiny Kingdom. Produced by Howard Redekopp (Mother Mother, Tegan and Sara, The New Pornographers), “love and anarchy” is a brutally honest reflection on navigating love and relationships. Directed by Wayne Moreheart, the video is an homage to The Undertones x Ramones videos and features the 3-piece performing at a dingy bar surrounded by the quirky antics of a bunch of wild pals.

(May 20, 2022) – Today, Toronto indie outfit Ten Kills the Pack is proud to announce the follow-up to last year’s Life, Death & Afterwards EP with a new album titled Thank You For Trying: ACT I. Ten Kills the Pack couples the announcement with a powerful rumination on mental health in the form of new song “Curbside Panic Attack.” Frontman and songwriter Sean Sroka meditates on the intense lows that come with anxiety and describes the “dream-like scenes” of a depressive episode. Co-produced with Marcus Paquin (The Weather Station, The National, Arcade Fire), contemplative melodies glide over raw guitars and build to a blasting instrumental break that features a burst of trumpets and a rollicking backbeat. (May 19, 2022) – Montreal-based indie pop band Ivytide releases “extra” on Indica Records today, encapsulating the hardships that come from separation. Despite an accompanying rumination, the song focuses on accepting loss and processing change, weaving between chill emotional and upbeat energetic moments. The catchy chorus expresses the feeling of not knowing how to break the news to friends and family, with the line “all my friends will find me out.” Effortlessly blending singer-songwriter elements, like acoustic guitar with modern drums, rapped verses, and melodies that are guaranteed to get stuck in your head, this is the first single from Ivytide’s upcoming debut album, set to be released later this year.
(May 13, 2022) – Newcomer to the pop scene, Montreal-based Carlyn joins the likes of Billie Eilish and Madison Beer in creating a dark indie dream style she’s coined nightmare pop. Recently signed to indie powerhouse Indica Records, she joined forces with producers House of Wolf to record her vulnerable debut single “Sleeping With Penelope” available now on all DSPs accompanied by the official video with horror themes.
